Site Manager
With over a decade of experience in education, Michaela is a passionate advocate for student success. She began her career teaching 2nd and 5th grade, where she honed her skills in classroom management and differentiated instruction. Currently, Michaela serves as a school counselor at Duluth High School, providing comprehensive academic, career, and emotional support to students.
Michaela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Edward Waters University, a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Clark Atlanta University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Professional School Counseling from the University of Georgia.
In addition to her educational expertise, Michaela is a Professionally Licensed Therapist specializing in anxiety and depression. Her unique blend of teaching, counseling, and therapeutic experience allows her to develop tailored strategies for both academic and personal growth.

Lead Tutor: PreK-5th
Abby holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education. With six years of experience in preschool and elementary settings, as well as a background in nannying, Abby brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of early learning. She believes that tutoring should be interactive and play-based whenever possible, creating an engaging and supportive environment tailored to each child's needs. Abby strives to foster growth and empowerment by making learning both meaningful and enjoyable for every student.

K-6th Reading and Math Tutor
Quinta is a native of South Carolina. He attended South Carolina State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Literacy. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Education, Educational Leadership program at Clemson University. Quinta found his passion in teaching while educating children from underserved communities. He has taught all subject areas and grades 1st through 6th and is well versed in elementary pedagogy.

Theresa is a dedicated educator with over two decades of experience in supporting students and families. Her journey began in 2000 as an AmeriCorps Tutor with Mississippi State University, focusing on Reading and Language Literacy for Pre-K through sixth-grade students. She earned a degree in Family Studies and Consumer Sciences with a Minor in Education from Mississippi University for Women. Theresa then spent over 18 years at Institute Community Service, Inc., where she progressed from a Pre-K teacher to Center Director, overseeing 263 students and 73 staff members.
Now based in Georgia, Theresa serves as a Student Service Specialist and Parent Outreach Liaison at New Life Academy of Excellence in Gwinnett County. She is passionate about helping students overcome academic and behavioral challenges, fostering a supportive learning environment. Her tutoring philosophy is rooted in a student-centered approach, recognizing individual learning styles and empowering students to become confident, lifelong learners.

Miranda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education at the same institution. With two years of classroom teaching experience and a strong background in tutoring 1st and 2nd grade students in literacy, Miranda brings both expertise and enthusiasm to her work with young learners.
Her teaching philosophy is grounded in culturally responsive teaching, ensuring that students see their own cultures, perspectives, and beliefs reflected in the content. Miranda believes that when students feel seen and valued, their engagement and academic growth thrive. She creates meaningful, authentic learning experiences that build foundational literacy skills while fostering confidence and a love for learning.

Russell brings over 15 years of tutoring experience, both online and in person, to the Growing With Grace team. With more than 25 years of teaching experience, he has primarily worked in middle school settings, specializing in Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies. His expertise extends to supporting multilingual learners, as he is ESOL certified.
Russell is passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a strong academic foundation. He tailors his approach to meet each student's unique needs, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences that foster growth and success.
